Quantum Solutions Engineer (Remote – USA)

A technology company operating at the forefront of quantum computing is seeking a Quantum Solutions Engineer to help bridge the gap between cutting-edge quantum technologies and real-world customer challenges. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, translating complex business problems into innovative quantum computing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers to understand technical requirements, business objectives, and computational challenges.

  • Evaluate real-world use cases and identify opportunities where quantum computing can deliver value.

  • Develop solution strategies leveraging quantum algorithms, quantum resource estimation, and hybrid quantum-classical approaches.

  • Collaborate with research and engineering teams to tailor solutions for customer needs.

  • Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Support proof-of-concept projects and guide customers through the adoption of quantum technologies.

  • Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and customer-facing materials.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Quantum Information Science, or a related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of quantum algorithms and quantum computing fundamentals.

  • Experience with quantum resource estimation and assessing the feasibility of quantum solutions.

  • Proficiency with quantum software development frameworks and simulation tools.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in customer-facing, consulting, solutions engineering, or technical advisory roles.

  • Track record of applying quantum computing to practical industry problems.

  • Publications or contributions within the quantum computing ecosystem.
