Product Manager – Quantum Computing

A deep-tech software company developing infrastructure for running quantum workloads at scale is looking for a Product Manager with a strong quantum computing background to shape its products and support commercial growth.

The role

  • Own product definition, roadmap and positioning across two quantum software products.
  • Translate customer feedback, usage data and technical capabilities into clear product priorities.
  • Develop pricing, packaging and cost-to-serve models alongside the CEO.
  • Lead documentation, tutorials and technical content that help users move from sign-up to meaningful results.
  • Support customer onboarding, adoption and ongoing success.
  • Build domain-specific positioning and inbound marketing across areas including materials, chemistry, physics, healthcare, energy, financial services and optimisation.
  • Help grow the developer community through GitHub, academic relationships, workshops and relevant industry events.

Requirements

  • PhD or equivalent research experience in physics, computer science, chemistry, mathematics or a related field.
  • Alternatively, you may be considered if you have product management experience in a similar deep-tech or technical environment.
  • A good understanding of quantum computing and an interest in how the technology can be applied commercially.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly to different audiences.
  • An interest in moving towards product, commercial and customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities.
  • Confident using AI tools to improve productivity and the quality of your work.

Desirable

  • Experience in product management, developer relations or technical marketing.
  • Experience working with scientific computing, HPC or technical software.
  • Programming experience and the ability to build demos or notebooks.

Location: London, mostly remote, with one office day per week and occasional international travel.
Salary: £70,000–£85,000 + equity options.
